5 Adorable Sorority Big Little Traditions to Start Right Now

After the stress of recruitment, writing for your little, and waiting to see if you’re matched, it’s a relief to finally start planning for Big Little Reveal. To make reveal as special as possible, consider some fun, different family traditions to start enjoying with your new little and your line. Sorority big little traditions can be used for time spent with just your little, or for your entire tree. Keep the traditions going and make sure that your family tree stays connected!

  1. Family paint and sip

Take a night to gather your line together and have a family paint and sip! You can go out or stay in —  what’s important is making sure everyone enjoys themselves and has beautiful artwork to treasure and share!

2. Line pamper

Who doesn’t love a good mani/pedi? Take your sorority little out to treat her to a relaxing day with her big that she won’t forget! Invite the rest of your line if possible to make a fun family bonding activity.

3. Have a letter swap

Invite the older members of your line to bring any old letters or sorority items and have a shirt swap! This is a great way to engage with alumnae members of your line as well! You could even collect letters to make a t-shirt quilt!

4. Line craft night

Whether you decide to make paddles, plaques, badge boxes, or canvases, have your sorority family come together for a craft night! Crafting together is a great sorority big little tradition and a way to hang out with your line while doing something you’re all interested in.

5. Give the gift of food

Holiday cookie swaps can easily be repurposed into a big/little activity! Have your sorority line get together and swap cookies, food, or candy with each other. Everyone will bring something different and you’ll all wind up with something good!
